How to get New Electricity Connection ?
In order to get a new electricity connection, Applicant needs to submit the following documents
1. Application form.
2. One passport size photograph.
3. Residence Proof ( Rashan Card, PAN Card, Driving License etc.. )
4. In case of Urban area:
Photocopy of House Registry, House Tax / Copy of Assessment from MC.
In Case of Rural area:
Certificate by Sarpanch in which it is mentioned that House is in Lal Dora.
5. One witness ( which is already a consumer of UHBVN ).
6. One passport size photo of witness.
7. One photocopy of electricity bill which is in the name of witness.

List of documents to be attached with A&A Form ( ifrequired, Specimen of indemnity bond and available at SDO Office):
1. Copy of registration deed/Municipal or Panchayat House- Tax Assessment Notice/ Allotment letter by HUDA/HSIDC/ Housing Board/ Group Housing Societies/Lease Deed/Receipt of rent paid (Any one of the Document).
2. Consent of landlord or indemnity Bond if consent oflandlord not available. In case of tenant seeking connection.
3. for NDS connection, General power of attorney ‘n favor of signatory, in case of joint ownership & partnership firms; Certified truecopy of the resolution, authorizing the signatory to deal with the UHBVN, passed by the Board of Directors, in case of companies (as applicable)
4. for NDS connections, self attested photocopy of thepartnership deed in case of partnership firms/Memorandum & article of article of association in case of companies (as applicable)
5. Attested copy of any one of documents listed at Sr.No.(8) of page-1 of the form

Instruction for Applicants:
(i) Application No. shall be allowed by the cashier at the time of receipt of Application processing charges.
(ii) Please furnish installation Test report issued by licensed electrical wiring contractor, after completion of installation giving full details of load/ machinery

An online monitoring system called Jansahayak has been developed to monitor the time bound delivery of the services provided by the above departments.

Jansahayak is a monitoring system that monitors the delivery of citizen centric services notified vide letter no. 7/8/2011-3AR dated 7 th June, 2011 of Government of Haryana.

36 identified services will be covered immediately and more services would be added later. Janshayak is a web based software which can be run by accessing website http://www.jansahayak.gov.in.

How much will you charge for new electricity connection for domestic?

Domestic Connection Charges:
Single Phase Connection :
ADVANCE CONSUMPTION DEPOSIT (SECURITY) = Rs. 500/- per KW
Processing Charges = 10/- KW

Three Phase Connection :
ADVANCE CONSUMPTION DEPOSIT (SECURITY) = Rs.500/- per KW
Processing Charges
Upto 2 KW Load = Rs. 10/- KW
Above 2 KW load= Rs. 25/- KW
