    Steps:
    1. Go to Start-> Control Panel > Regional & Language Options >Click on Languages Tab
    2. Tick the Check box to Install files for complex scripts and click OK.
    3. Click OK
    4. You will be required to place the Windows XP CD in the CD drive to enable Indic languages including Hindi
    5. Reboot the System

    Microsoft Indic Language Input Tool (Intelligent Phonetic) keyboard :
    1. Click on Desktop version >> Install Now
    2. hindi.exe file will be downloaded
    3. Double click Hindi.exe Setup. Once the installation process is complete, Microsoft Indic Language Input Tool has been successfully installed will be displayed

    Enabling Hindi Indic Input 2 on all Applications :
    1. Control Panel - > Regional and Language Options - > Languages
    2. Select Details tab and then Advanced tab
    3. Select the check box to turn on Advanced text services in Notepad and other programs.

    Hindi Indic Input 2 :
    1. Start the Office application.
    2. From the System tray Click on EN or Press Keyboard’s left side ALT+Shift to toggle between EN (English) and HI (Hindi).
    3. The PC is now ready to start typing in Hindi, Select Keyboard of your Choice.

    How to obtain the wireless operating licence for satellite Phone (INMARSAT terminals) ?

    ** First obtain No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the CS Group of DOT.
    ** Then apply for frequency assignment to WPC Wing in proforma prescribed along with NOC.
    ** Obtained the ID from any operator (like M/s Tata Communication Ltd (VSNL).
    ** Apply for issuance of Wireless Operating Licence along with invoice of equipments and requisite spectrum charges (Licence Fee and royalty) as specified in the decision letter along with surcharge, if any.
