Be Ready with the Documents at the time of Diploma online Counselling
1. Acknowledgement card
2. SSLC or equivalent examination marks card.
3. Original Transfer Certificate / T.C endorsement (NOC) in case of students admitted to PUC or other courses or PUC failed candidates from the concerned institutions.
4. Study certificate. (for a minimum five years period should be countersigned by the concerned Block Educational Officer) (See ANNEXURE-XI (a) for proforma of Study Certificate)
5. To bring Required Fees is must to get admission for Govt/Govt Aided Polytechnics otherwise you will lose your seat & next merit student will get same seat.
6. Bring 4 recent Passport size photos
7. Rural Certificate (Rural Study Certificate in respect of candidates claiming the benefit of rural reservation should produce a verification certificate from the concerned Tahasildar along with a rural study certificate for having studied 10 full academic years from 1st standard to 10th standard in Karnataka state issued by the Head of the Educational Institution and such certificate should be got countersigned by the BEO or DDPI in the prescribed proforma as printed in
8. Applicant should bring original cast certificate, Income Certificate issued by the competent authority for claiming any reservations.
9. Candidates should bring Kannada Medium study certificate from 1st standard to 10th standard which is duly countersigned by B.E.O./ D.D.P.I. for claiming Kannada Medium reservation.
10. Candidates must and should bring the revised prescribed fees in cash (revised fee structure for admission to Diploma 2012-13 has been notified in the website).

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR 1ST YEAR DIPLOMA ADMISSION IN POLYTECHNICS:
The candidate must be a citizen of India, and
(a) For Engineering Courses :- Should have passed Karnataka SSLC or equivalent examination and have studied and passed with 35% marks in aggregate.
(b) For Sound Recording and Cinematography Courses:- Should have passed Karnataka PUC-2/PCM or equivalent examination and have studied and passed with 35% marks in aggregate.
(c) For Non-Engineering Courses:-
1) Commercial Practice and Apparel Design & Fabrication Technology Should have passed Karnataka SSLC or equivalent examination and have studied and passed with 35% marks in aggregate.
2) Library Science & Information Management / Business Administration Should have passed Karnataka PUC-2 or equivalent examination and have studied and passed with 35% marks in aggregate.
