Raw Materials Division (RMD), the controlling unit of captive mines of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) – a Maharatna Public Sector Enterprise and the leading steel maker in India, invites applications from eligible candidates for filling up 10 (ten) posts of Mining Foreman and 15 (fifteen) posts of Mining Mate for posting in its various mines as detailed below

Minimum/Essential Qualification : Minimum/Essential Qualification Matriculation/ Diploma in Mining along with Mining Foreman’s Certificate of Competency under MMR 1961 from the Competent Authority
Experience : Post qualification experience of minimum 1 (one) year
Maximum Age as on 30/06/2012 :
i) General/Unreserved – 28 Years
ii) SC/ST – 33 Years
iii) OBC – 31 Years
Grade : S-3
Scale of Pay : Rs.9160 – 3% – 13150/-

Name of the post : Mining Mate
No. of post : 15
Minimum/Essential Qualification : Matriculation along with Mining Mate’s Certificate of Competency under MMR 1961 from the Competent Authority.
Experience : Post qualification experience of minimum 1 (one) year
Maximum Age as on 30/06/2012 :
i) General/Unreserved – 28 Years
ii) SC/ST – 33 Years
iii) OBC – 31 Years
Grade : S-1
Scale of Pay : Rs.8630 – 3% – 12080/-
