Description
Visualizer are expected to have good knowledge of how to use basic graphic designing software’s such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Corel Draw, and others. You should know how to use the various tools to create different effects, & also know shortcuts in order to complete designs quickly.
You will be expected to be able to execute a design on the computer basis the brief, explained to you by the designer.
You should be able to help the designer translate an idea into reality and that is what makes your job so important. It is because you know how to use the software & its tools you are able create good design basis the brief given to you.
Another important part of your requirement is to be able to make artworks (read for print files) of the designs created. These include artworks for brochure, stationary, logos, leaflets, flex designs, signage, etc.
Also, you must be focused on creating good quality artworks, which are up to the mark. Good quality means, that your able to organize your folders correctly, give the right color & material specifications, giving the correct sizes (in mm), using crops marks, & paying attention to bleeds, etc.

Functions of a Visualizer include :
1. You must have good knowledge of your software. The basic software’s you are expected to know is 1) Photoshop 2) Illustrator 3) InDesign 4) Basic Corel Draw. You must know these software’s very well.
2. You have to be able to understand what the designer wants. This means that you must;
a) Be able to have basic communication skills in English or Hindi. The designer must be able to explain the design to you in English or Hindi, & you should be able to understand what is said.
b) You should not be nervous to ask the designer or other team members all your doubts. You must have the confidence to speak & say clearly what is in your mind.
3. Most of the time all projects will be needed urgently, hence you must be able to complete all jobs quickly.
4. You have to know how to create artworks for brochures, stationary, advertisements, signage, logos, etc. The artwork has to be up to standards & must be good quality.
5. As an visualizer you may also need to be able to make basic paper dummies.
