Check Your Name in the Voters' List (Electoral Roll) :
1) Select the Assembly Constituency Number & Name.
2) Enter the Voter's Name and Father's/Mother's/Husband's Name.
3) Enter the House Number and Voters' Photo Identity Card Number.
4) Click the Search button.

Please read following instructions carefully before searching your details:
If your name is in the Voters List then you are eligible to vote in any election in Delhi, even if you do not have a Voter Identity Card, provided you produce proof of identity at the time of the election such as Passport, Driving License etc., and carry with you your details as they appear on the Voters’ List.

However, if you have a Voter Identity Card and your name is not in the Voters List, then you are not eligible to vote in any election in Delhi and you will have to enrol afresh as a voter.

Please note the following while checking your name in the Voters’ List here :
1. From experience it has been noted that people frequently make mistakes while typing in details. It is therefore recommended that you search your name using various options as given below :

i) It is desirable that you should type in your name and that of your father / mother / husband in exactly the same way as it appears in your Voter Identity Card e.g. Subhash Kumar Verma, Chanderbhushan Kishore, etc.

ii) In case this is not possible for any reason then please try out the following options :
a) Enter the first three letters of your name and first three letters of your father’s / mother’s / husband’s names.
or
b) Remove the gap in the names e.g. Subhashkumar.
or
c) Insert a gap in the names e.g. Chander Bhushan.
or
d) Change the position of the surname e.g. Verma Subhash Kumar and Kishore Chander Bhushan.

2. Please ensure that you have selected the correct AC (Assembly Constituency) Number and Name.

3. In case you have a Voter Identity Card and cannot find your name in the Voters List, then it is regretted to inform that you are not eligible to vote. You will therefore have to apply afresh for the enrolment of your name in the Voters List. You may either continue with the same address as given in the Voter Identity Card that you currently have or change it if it is warranted.

I have one ORIGINAL Identity Card No. JSJ0967042 dated 30.04.2012 in the name of PUJA PAHUJA w/o Mr. Surender Pahuja R/o 345, Sanskriti Apptt. Sector-19B, Dwarka, Delhi with showing age 33 years as on 01.01.2012, with me & in last MCD Election Mrs. PUJA Pahuja already casted her vote.

Please note, in the relation, Mrs. PUJA PAHUJA is my daughter-in-law.

But now, at present, he name is missing in the latest voting list, which I had seen on the net few days back. My question is here that what is happening ?

The EPIC or Voter Identity Card for all the first time applicants whose applications have been accepted shall be handed over on National Voter’s Day to be celebrated on 25th January. All such applicants shall be invited for this occasion. All other applicants shall get their Voter Identity Card by Speed Post after 15th January.

Yes, you are eligible provided you will be 18 years of age or more as on 01.01.2012 and you live within the National Capital Territory of Delhi. You need to fill in Form-6 as a new voter and attach proof of your age and proof of residence.

My father has expired, what do I need to do ?

His name and the names of all people who have expired have to be deleted from the Electoral Roll.

For this you will have to fill Form 7. You can give it personally or by post. For the procedure involved, please look at Answers to Questions No. 2, 3, 4 and 5 above.

The only document that you are required need to attach is a Death Certificate. No other document is required.

After your application has been accepted, your name and other details will be included in the Electoral Roll. The name of all the accepted applications shall be published on the date of Final Publication of Electoral Roll on 5th January 2012.
