WALK IN INTERVIEW

Applications are invited for the engagement of one Research Associate under the DBT funded project entitled ‘‘Generation of an improved Newcastle disease virus vaccine candidate using a novel reverse genetics technology”

Name of the position : Research Associate

Essential qualification :
Educational : Doctorate degree in Life Science or Veterinary Science, with specialization in Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry (OR) three years of research, teaching and design and development experience after MVSc/ MPharm/ME/MTech

Skills and Techniques : Experience in molecular biology techniques including RT-PCR, gene cloning and mammalian cell expression. Analytical skills related to assessment of serological assays and immune response. Candidate should preferably have experience of data analysis, handling of analytical equipments & computers. Mere acquaintance of techniques by attending trainings/workshop/seminar and course work will not be considered. Handling of birds would be an added advantage.

Emoluments : Rs. 22000/- (Fixed) +20% HRA for two and half years

Age limit : The upper age limit as on date of interview shall be 40 years for RA.
