No. of Posts to be filled (In Mumbai Area) : 51 (Reservation shall be applicable as per rules)

Educational Qualification : Matriculation passed plus knowledge and speed of Shorthand in English/Hindi- 80 words per minutes. (Candidates with higher educational Qualification can also apply). Candidates should be well conversant with latest Computer applications e.g. MS WORD, MS EXCEL etc.

Age : 18 years to 30 years. (As on 01.07.2012) Age Relaxation: 03 years for OBC & 05 years for SC/ST.

Speed Test : Short listed candidates shall be subjected to speed test as under:
English steno- Dictation Duration- 5 minutes. Transcription time - 33 minutes on PC.
Hindi Steno – Dictation Duration – 5 minutes. Transcription time - 38 minutes on PC.

It will be a full time contract. Such candidates shall be recruited on monthly remuneration basis @ Rs. 9655/- per month (consolidated). The Candidates shall be initially engaged on contract basis up to 30.11.2012, which is likely to be extended further.

Working Hours : HQ’s / Divisional Office : 09.30 hrs. to 18.00 hrs. (5 days a week) Workshops : 09.30 hrs. to 16.30 hrs (6 days a week) (Note : In administrative exigencies may be required to work beyond office hrs./ called on holidays)
