Applications are invited for the following Research Programmes for the Autumn Session-2012;

A)M.Phil/Ph.D (Faculty of Science) :
Field of Specialization :
I. CHEMISTRY : Physical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry Environmental Chemistry Industrial Chemistry and Materials Chemistry.
II. PHYSICS : Nanotechnology, Optical Fiber Communication and Quantum
III. MATHEMATICS : Complex Analysis, Wavelet Analysis and Operation Research. Theory.
ELIGIBILITY :
FOR GENERAL CATEGORY CANDIDATES : Masters Degree in relevant field of Science with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 or not less 60% marks at Master’s level or any other Equivalent qualification recognized by Institute.
Mode of Selection : Screening,Test and interview/counseling by respective Departments of NIT Srinagar

Eligibility :
FOR GENERAL CATEGORY CANDIDATES : Master’s Degree in relevant field of Engineering with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 or not less than 60% marks at Master’s level or any other equivalent qualification recognized by the Institute.
FOR SC/ST/OBC CATEGORY CANDIDATES : Master’s Degree in relevant field of Engineering with a minimum of CGPA of or not less than 55% marks at Master’s level or any other equivalent qualification recognized by the Institute.

Application Fee :
Rs.400/- (Rs.200/- for SC/ST candidates) to be deposited in Account No. 106/CD in J&K Bank (NIT Srinagar) or through Bank Draft drawn in favour of Director, National Institute of Technology Srinagar
