PEDIATRIC ONCOLOGY SUPERSPECIALITY COURSE, 2012

Applications are invited for admission to the Pediatric Oncology Super Specialty Course for the academic year 2012-13 at the Regional Cancer Centre, Thiruvananthapuram.

Course : DM Pediatric Oncology

Seats : Two

Duration of the Course : Duration of the Course shall be three years from the date of commencement of the course. The date of commencement of the course will be 01/08/2012 or date of commencement as certified by the Director, RCC for those admitted later. The course is a full time residential course. Students will be provided stipend as per the Institution’s norms and MCI regulations.

Eligibility for admission :
Applicants should have satisfied the following conditions :-
Nativity :
i. Should be an Indian Citizen
ii. Should have passed the PG Degree (MD) from any of the Medical Colleges in India, recognized by the Medical Council of India or DNB from an institute in India, approved by the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi.

Basic Academic Qualifications :
i. M.B.B.S. Degree recognized by the Medical Council of India
ii. Post Graduate Degree (M.D) in Pediatrics recognized by the Medical Council of India OR DNB Pediatrics of National Board of Examinations, New Delhi.
(iii) Candidates should have their MBBS/PG Degrees registered permanently with Medical Council (India/State).

All candidates should qualify the Entrance Examination conducted by the Regional Cancer Centre, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala by securing minimum marks at the 50th percentile in the MCQ examination.

Age : Upper age limit is 40 years, as on 30th April 2012.

Entrance Examination :
All candidates seeking admission for the courses will have to appear for the Entrance Examination. The Entrance Examination will be conducted in accordance with the schedule fixed by the MCI and RCC, Thiruvananthapuram. Any change in date and time of the exam shall be intimated by e-mail.

Fees :
Tuition fees Rs. 3,50,000/- per annum
Caution Deposit Rs. 10,000/- (refundable)
Examination fee – as applicable to Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur
