Apply For Ration Card :
Ration Card being millions of Indian resident’s requirement. Some apply for ration card for its supply of food commodities and some apply for new ration card for an identification proof. There are different types of ration card provided by the state government for every family depending on their income source.

People have many questions as how to apply for new ration card. So for that one needs to know which category they fall to apply for new ration card ie above poverty line (apl), below poverty line (bpl), Antyodaya families (aay). Once that is decided one has to follow a few steps to know how to apply for new ration card.

How To Apply For New Ration Card?
** To apply for new ration card the applicant has to go to the nearest rationing circle office.
** Take the form no 1 to apply for ration card
** Fill in the information required along with three passport size photos of the head of the family duly attested by the gazette officer.
** Provide an address proof or a NOC from the landlord in case of tenant.
** One has to also provide income proof to apply for ration card.
** Also give a certificate of surrender / deletion that mentions that the applicant doesn’t hold a ration card and requires one.
** Applicant needs to pay 50 paise to one rupee depending on the processing fee charged to apply for ration card.
** To add a name one has to provide the birth certificate/ deletion form in case of marriage.
** Deletion in the name of any family member is done on the same day.

Ration Card Verification Process Involves Following Steps :
** Filling and submitting ration card form online or by hand.
** Submitting required documents with the application form
** Inspection by a government inspector of proof of residence.
** Once the ration card verification details is approved then on such ration card verification the applicant would get a receipt as a ration card verification status.
** Then after a month the applicant would receive the ration card.
** If the verification is not appropriate then the applicant would get to know his ration card verification status only after a month.

Ration Card Registration:
** Many Indian residents are anxious to know for how to get a new ration card registration done in the place or the state they stay. For having a ration card registration done one has to follows a few guidelines.
** They need to get a new ration card registration form then fill up the information required along with the address proof/noc if tenant,
** Three attested photos of the head of the family, income proof, and surrender or deletion certificate.
** Once the procedure of verification is done you can collect the ration card at the rationing office.
** In case of loss of ration card one can a duplicate ration card registration done by getting a certificate of loss from the FSO and submitting it in the office. Then by paying a required fee he can get a ration card.

1. 3 photographs(Passport size) of head of family attested by any gazetted officer
2. Residential proof

In Case of Owner :
Registration Deed, Allotment Letter, House TAx Receipt, Power of Attorney, Electricity Bill, Water Bill etc.

In Case of Tenant :
No Objection Certificate of Land lord or any other relevant document
3. Old Ration Card, Surrender/Deletion certificate of the previous card.
4. Rs.25/- as Non refundable fee.

Our card no RAP07840280. Due to elections in my state,our govt changed old ration dealers and my card is temporary one. So my dealer asked coupons ,we went to rdo office for collecting coupons but they told us that they sent back them to dso and also said that my card become invalid. What can I do sir?
