Written Examination :
Written examination of one-hour duration will be conducted and will comprise of objective type questions.

Name of the project : Study of electrostatic precipitator
Description : The aim of this project is to study about electrostatic precipitator in biomass power plant. These types of plants are suitable for base loads. Generally electrostatic precipitator filters the ash content from the dust outlet. In this way it reduces the pollution in the atmosphere.
MAIN PROJECT :
Name of the project : An efficient ac-dc step-up converter for low voltage energy harvesting.
Description : This project presents an efficient ac-to-dc power converter which avoids the bridge rectification and directly converts the low ac input voltage to the required high dc output voltage at a higher efficiency.
