Eligibility Conditions :
The lateral entry from Diploma to 2nd year of 4-year B.E. degree level would be open only to 3 year Diploma holders in corresponding discipline who have completed Matriculation Examination with Physics and Mathematics. However, candidates with Diploma in Production and Industrial Engineering are eligible for admission in Mechanical Engineering. In addition, the candidate must have obtained 60% marks in the aggregate in the Diploma course as required by AICTE.

Admission would be made on the basis of merit obtained in the Entrance Examination to be conducted by the Panjab University, Chandigarh.

Scheme of Test :
The duration of the Entrance Test will be one hour and thirty minutes and it will consist of 75 multiple-choice questions of one mark each. The syllabus will be based broadly on the course contents as provided in the Prospectus. There will be negative marking for wrong answers.

STEPS TO FOLLOW :
Fill Online Form.
After Completion of online form Download bank slip and pay fee in any State bank of India (SBI) Branch.
After 24 hrs of fee deposit you can check status of your application, if your fee is confirmed, you will be allowed to take print out of the form submitted.

NOTE :
If more than 24 Hrs. have passed after depositing the fee in bank and status of form Fee is not confirmed, write to puleet@pu.ac.in with scanned copy of bankslip.

Candidates who will avail the concession in fee under the category SC/ST must send the copy of printout of their filled form along with the self attested copy of Category Certificate to
