Pasteur Institute of India, Coonoor is one of the leading Institutions in the production of Antirabies Vaccine and DPT group of Vaccines for the Universal Immunization Programme (UIP) of Government of India functioning as an autonomous body under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi. Applications are invited for the following posts in the Institute.

1.Name of the post : Assistant Research Officer

Educational Qualifications :
** M.Sc., (Microbiology) of Medical Faculty of recognized university or
** institution with at least 2 years experience of work in a medical microbiology department/laboratory after the post-degree qualification (or)
** M.Sc. degree in science subjects of a recognized university with at least 3 years experience in a microbiology department after post-graduate qualification (or)
** B.V.Sc. degree of recognized university with at least 3 years experience in a microbiology department (or)
** B.Sc., (Microbiology) of a recognized university with at least experience in a microbiology department (or)
** B.Sc. degree in science subjects of recognized university with at least 5 years experience in a microbiology department.

2. Name of the post : Assistant Accounts Officer

Educational Qualifications :
Essential :
A degree of a recognized University/Institutions with Commerce/Accounts with 3 years of experience of work connected with accounts and audit in a responsible capacity.
Desirable :
** A post graduate degree of a recognized University/Institutions with Commerce/Accounts
** CA/CCWA/SAS of India.
Transfer on Deputation :
(a) Officer under the Central Govt./State Govt./Autonomous Bodies/Universities.
(i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis or
(ii) 3 years regular service in the scale in the Grade pay of Rs.4200 or equivalent having qualified the SAS or equivalent examination (or)
b) Sr. Accountants/Sr. Auditors or equivalent having passed the SAS or equivalent examination conducted by the Departments with 3 years regular service in the grade.
