India Government Mint, Mumbai is a unit of Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL), a Miniratna Category-I, Central Public Sector Enterprise, wholly owned by Government of India and started functioning as a Corporatized entity with effect from 13th January, 2006, under the administrative control of the Ministry of Finance, Dept. of Economic Affairs. Mumbai Mint is engaged in the minting of the coins, manufacturing of weights and measures, medals and medallions etc. With the above background, India Government Mint, Mumbai Mint invites applications for filling up the following posts;

1.Name of The Post : Assistant Assay Superintendent
Level : S-1
Scale of Pay : 9300-34800 (PB-2) + G.P. 4200 Plus other allowances as admissible.
No. of Posts : SC- 1, UR- 1
Essential :First Class in M.Sc. Degree in Inorganic Chemistry from a recognized University or institute.
Desirable : 02 years practical experience in assay works (Analytical Chemistry/Quality Management)
Age Limit : 18 years to 30 years.

2.Name of The Post : Jr. Hindi Translator
Level : S-1
Scale of Pay : 9300-34800 (PB-2) + G.P. 4200 Plus other allowances as admissible.
No. of Posts : 1 UR
Essential : First Class Graduate with Hindi and English as a main subject or either of the two as medium of examination and other as a main subject plus a recognized Diploma/ Certificate Course in Translation from Hindi to English and vice versa OR First Class Master’s Degree of a recognized University in Hindi/English, with English/Hindi as a main subject at Degree level. OR First Class Master’s Degree of a recognized University in any subject with Hindi as the medium of instruction and examination with English as a compulsory subject at Degree level.
Age Limit : 18 years to 30 years.

3.Name of The Post : Junior Data Entry Operator –cum- Office Assistant
Level : W-3
Scale of Pay : 5200-20200 (PB-1) + GP 2000 Plus other allowances as admissible.
No. of Posts : 1 OBC
Essential :
(1) Graduate with at least 55% marks
(2) Knowledge of computer operation
(3)Proficiency in typing with speed of 40 wpm in English & 30 wpm in Hindi.
Desirable : Proficiency in the domain area.
Age Limit : 18 years to 28 years.

4.Name of The Post : Laboratory Assistant
Level : W-3
Scale of Pay : 5200-20200 (PB-1) + GP 2000 Plus other allowances as admissible.
No. of Posts : 3 UR
Essential : Bachelor of Science with Chemistry, Physics & Mathematics with at least 55% marks.
Age Limit : 18 years to 28 years.

5.Name of The Post : Dispensary Assistant
Level : W-1
Scale of Pay : 5200-20200 (PB-1) + GP 1800 Plus other allowances as admissible.
No. of Posts : 2 UR
Essential :
(1) 8th standard Pass with English as one of the subjects.
(2) Training in First Aid and Dressing
Desirable :
(1) 1 year practical experience in dressing and dispensing.
(2) 2 years service as Home Guard or Civil Defence volunteer and Training in Basic and Refresher Course in Home Guard or Civil Defence.
Age Limit : 18 years to 25 years.

6.Name of The Post : Electrician
Level : W-1
Scale of Pay : 5200-20200 (PB-1) + GP 1800 Plus other allowances as admissible.

Essential : Full time ITI Certificate in Electrical/Electronics with NCTVT (additional)
Desirable : Diploma

Essential : Full time ITI Certificate in Painter (General) trade
Desirable : Diploma
