The written test for the post of Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) shall be held on 8th July, 2012. The Admit Cards can be downloaded by the eligible candidates through the Company’s website “sail.co.in” at the link “career with sail”. The Email and SMS alert has been sent to the eligible candidates in their registered Email address and Mobile phone Number.

The written test for the post of Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) shall be held on 21st July, 2012 and 22nd July 2012. The Admit Cards can be downloaded by the eligible candidates through the Company’s website “sail.co.in” at the link “career with sail”. The Email and SMS alert has been sent to the eligible candidates in their registered Email
address and Mobile phone Number.

Instructions to the Candidates appearing in the Written Test
1. You have to appear in the written test at the above-mentioned date/time/venue at your own cost. No Travelling Allowance will be paid by the Company.
2. This Admit Card is issued to you for appearing in the written Test based on the information furnished by you in your online application for the post. If at any stage of the recruitment process including after recruitment or joining, it is detected that the information provided by you is incorrect/incomplete or is not in conformity with the eligible criteria, or if it is found that you have concealed /distorted any material information, your candidature/appointment will be cancelled without assigning any reason thereof.
3. Admission to the Test Center will be on production of this admit card only.
4. Please bring one photo identity proof in original (Driving license/Voter ID card/Passport/PAN Card etc.) for verification purpose.
5. Candidates will need to ensure that they reach the test venue as per the reporting time specified in this Admit Card. Late Comers will not be permitted to appear in the test.
6. This Admit Card shall be valid only at the venue specified therein. Candidates shall not be allowed to attend the test at any other venue. You are required to sign in the space provided in the Admit Card only in the presence of the invigilator.
7. Candidates should carry blue/black ballpoint pen. Candidates shall not be allowed to share or borrow stationery items from other candidates.
8. All other items such as Calculators, Electronic Diary, Mobile Phones, Writing Pads, Pencil Boxes, Beepers, Cameras etc will not be allowed into the Examination Hall. Candidates will have to leave the same, at their own risk, outside the examination hall. Any candidate found in possession of such unauthorized material or found indulging in copying or adopting unfair means will be summarily disqualified.
9. Candidates shall not be allowed to leave the Examination Hall, for any reason, once the question papers have been distributed till the end of the test.
10. Your candidature is provisional and is subject to satisfying all the criteria prescribed for the post and verification of all your original certificates at the time of interview and joining.
11. Candidates short-listed on the basis of written test shall have to appear for interview.
12. The result for the written test will be published on the company's website (sail.co.in at the link Careers with SAIL) on or after 7th August 2012.
13. Question Paper booklet, answer sheet and this admit card should be handed over to the invigilator after the test.
14. Visually impaired candidates and physically challenged candidates whose writing speed is affected by cerebral palsy, under PWD category can take help of a scribe during the test as per Govt. Rules. Such candidates are required to submit an affidavit in the enclosed proforma at the time of the written test.
15. The Written Test will be OMR based and of 120 minutes duration with 100 questions to be answered. The question paper will be in English and Hindi language.
16. Candidates are required to shade only one option per question. The shading should completely cover the circle. Partial shading, dots or shading multiple options for one question is invalid and will not be considered for evaluation.
17. SAIL,RSP reserves the right to postpone/cancel the Written Test or alter the date/time/Venue of the Written Test at its discretion.
