INDIAN COAST GUARD (MINISTRY OF DEFENCE)
IMPORTANT TERMS AND INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING ELIGIBILITY AND FILLING OF ONLINE APPLICATION

(1)All statements made in the application should be true and correct. Candidates should understand that in the event of any information being found false or incorrect, the candidature will be cancelled.

(2)The candidate shall reach at least 30 minutes before commencement of the exam.

(3) The candidate should undertake to produce all original certificates and statement of marks with two photocopies each, duly attested by a Gazetted Officer, at the time of appearing for the Selection Test.

(4) Filling up a duplicate form will render the candidate disqualified.

(5) Candidates to choose any one venue provided out of the options displayed.

(6) The candidates failed in Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (PABT) or suspended from flying training at Air Force Academy cannot appear for Pilot branch however may apply for Navigator (Observer).

(7) The upper age limit for OBC/SC/ST is relaxable as per applicable Govt. of India rules.

(8) Candidate can appear for any one branch only.

(9) Candidate withdrawn on disciplinary grounds from any other service training academy is not eligible to appear.

(10)Candidate should not have been arrested, convicted or prosecuted on criminal charges.

(11)Name of candidate, father/mother's name and date of birth should be as given in the 10th class pass certificate.

(12)Candidate must possess the required qualification as per the advertisement for 02/2012 batch and should be able to produce original mark sheet and original degree/provisional degree from the University at the time of PSB and FSB.

(13)Candidates awaiting final year/ semester result may also apply provided they should not have any present back log. Such candidates should be able to provide provisional / original degree certificate issued by the University latest by 01 Jun 2012. Provisional degree issued by the college will not be accepted.

(14) While filling up the application form, candidates are required to indicate exact percentage of 12th and Degree, upto two decimals and are not to be rounding off. Any false entry of percentage detected at any stage of selection will render the rejection of candidature.
