Job Description
Sajan, a technology leader and language services provider in the translation industry is seeking highly motive software engineers up to the challenge of building the next generation of its translation management platform GCMS. GCMS, which stands for Global Communication Management System is a translation management platform that manages the workflow, processing and communication aspects required for a disconnected set of users to work together to translate, review and approve documentation into many different languages. The next generation of GCMS is going to take a network dependent smart client application and pivot its architecture to SOA, making the product robust enough to run and communicate through web services leveraging WCF.

The end goal is to three-fold:
1. Allow Sajan to open up processing centers anywhere in the world. Allowing us to better serve markets that we cannot server well from a U.S. base. Allow those processing centers to communicate centrally to a U.S. based data center through web services. Possibly in an occasionally connected model.
2. Allow Sajan to commercialize GCMS and sell its platform to other LSP's and corporations in an SAS model.
3. Allow Sajan to provide a product where multiple vendors can work together to service a client, with Sajan technology enabling the solution. We run into this need frequently. Big corporations that demand multiple vendors, but like our technology and would like for all the vendors to be able to leverage the technology and data centralization.

Desired Candidate Profile
A minimim of 3-5 years of professional experience in software development.
Extensive .NET architecture and development experience, specifically skilled in the development langauge C#
A strong background working with large and inter-connected application. Show an ability to learn complex systems.
Abilities in .NET Winforms, web services and ASP.NET
Experience in TSQL and database design, specifically with Microsoft SQL Server 2005.
Experience and understanding surrounding Service Oriented Architecture.
o Experience with Windows Communication Foundation (Microsofts unified framework for building service-oriented applications) a big plus.
o Experience / Understanding WSE another plus
Demonstratable experience with monitoring multiple threads to support parallel execution.
Understanding of a translation management system a plus.
Knowledgable about current technology standards and practices- e.g. (Interface Design, Needs Analysis, Information Architecture, Localization Best Practices, Software Engineering Lifecycle
