Biosciences and Bioengineering :
Job Code : P(03-1)
Project Name : Identification of targets in microalgae using proteomics
Name of the Post : SRF
No. of post : 1 Post
Eligibility : M.Sc/ M.Tech in Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Medical Sciences with minimum of 60% marks. NET/ GATE/ Equivalent qualification will be desirable. Candidate should have sound background in molecular biology and biochemistry and MUST have extensive laboratory experience (minimum 2 years) in proteomics. Expertise in the area of proteomic techniques 2D-DIGE and MS will be essential. Prior expertise of handling algal samples will be desirable. Candidate should have good skill of writing scientific project report and manuscripts related to project.
Salary : Consolidated salary Rs.18000/- p.m. + HRA
Job Profile : To perform proteomics and mass spectrometry based experiments on algal samples. The initial appointment will be for one year and may be extended for another two years based on the performance. Selection criteria: Assignments, written and/or interview test.

Eligibility : M.Sc./ M.Tech. in Biotechnology/ Life Sciences/ Biochemistry or related subjects with minimum of 60% marks. Candidate with valid NET/GATE will be preferred. Applicants having hands-on experience in molecular biology and proteomics will be preferred. Any research publication and other evidences of scientific writing will be an asset.
Salary : Consolidated salary Rs.16000/- p.m.
Job Profile : To perform molecular biology and proteomics based experiments. Prepare reports and manuscripts. The initial appointment will be for one year and may be extended for another two years based on the performance. Selection criteria: Assignments, written and/or interview test.

Eligibility : M.E /M.Tech in Engineering or B.E /B.Tech/MSc with 2 years of research experience. Exposure to any of the areas of colloids, interfacial science, nanoparticles would be a plus.

Job Profile : The position will be primarily to perform modeling and simulation to explain current and future experimental data of our group, involving nanoparticle synthesis, adsorption and water treatment.
