Project 1 : Client-Server based Facility Information System

The project entitled ‘client/server based FIS’ is a windows application with the purpose to view and query the shape files of NOIDA, the study area. Visual basic.net 2005 was used to create the application. The core of the project is to provide complete information concerning facilities of a specific area with the aid of geographically referenced map of the respective area.
The facilities included here are hospitals, malls, schools, colleges, police stations and fire stations. This application will provide easy access, to fetch required information (location, contacts, etc,), to the user. The interface provides an interactive map, i.e. user can put query (by using tools) regarding available facility. This system will cater to the users like localites, bureaucrats, public work authorities, administration etc.
Project 2 : Man- Nature Interaction in the Bhagirathi Basin
To study the Physical landscape of the area, cultural landscape and impact of human activities on the natural environment on the region and emphasis on environmental degradation.
Project 3 : Socio-Economic Survey of Kishanpur
The main objective of this survey is to know about rural-urban area which facing the problems by the immature urbanization and solving the problems by giving a right direction with help of survey.
