ADMISSION NOTICE FOR 4-YEAR B.TECH. PROGRAMMES
(Approved by the AICTE)

Academic Session : 2012-2013

Applications are invited from the intending eligible candidates for admission to the following programmes:

(a)1st Semester classes for the :
B.Tech. in Petroleum Engineering
B.Tech. in Mechanical Engneering
B.Tech. in Electronics & Communication Engineering
B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering
Eligibility : 50% Marks (45% for SC & ST) in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in H.S. (10+2) Examination of AHSEC or any other equivalent examination recognized by the University and also qualified in AIEEE (2012) or CEE (2012). Admission and allotment of branch shall be considered on the basis of the marks of the above qualifying tests.

(b)Lateral Entry to the 3rd Semester classes for the B. Tech. Programmes mentioned above under (a).

How to Apply :
i) The Information Brochure cum Application Form shall be issued from 6th June, 2012 on payment of Rs.500/- only at the following :
1. Head Post Offices : Barpeta/ Bongaigaon/ Dhemaji/ Dhubri/ Diphu/ Duliajan/ Goalpara/ Golaghat/ Meghdoot Bhawan, Guwhati GPO/ Haflong/ Hailakandi/ Jorhat/ Karimganj/ Mangaldoi/ Nagaon/ Nalbari/ North Lakhimpur/ Sivasagar/ Silchar/ Tezpur/ Tinsukia/ Dibrugarh and Dibrugarh University Post Office.
2. Office of the Deputy Registrar (Academic), Dibrugarh University.
ii) Filled in applications shall have to be submitted at the Office of the
Director,
Dibrugarh University Institute of Engineering & Technology (DUIET),
Dibrugarh University Campus,
Dibrugarh.

For CEE qualified candidates : 06th July 2012
