Applications are invited from Inservice candidates working in Government Schools under HRDD having the eligible criterion for filling up of the following posts under Human Resource Development Department, Government of Sikkim.

A. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR SECONDARY SCHOOL HEAD MASTER/HEAD MISTRESS.
1. 50% from Graduate Teachers/Post Graduate Teachers
Graduate or Post Graduate with B Ed. recognized by NCTE with 8 (eight) years of regular service as Graduate Teacher or Post Graduate Teacher in Government school.
2. 50% from Head Masters/Mistresses of Junior High School and Assistant Education Officer.
Graduate with B Ed. recognized by NCTE and 5 (five) years of regular service in Government school as Head Master/ Mistress of Junior High School or Assistant Education Officer.

B. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL HEAD MASTER/HEAD MISTRESS.
1. 50% from Graduate Teachers
Graduate with B Ed recognized by NCTE and 7 years of regular service in Government school.
2. 50% from Head Masters/ Head Mistresses of Primary School
Graduate with B Ed. recognized by NCTE and 5 yrs. of regular service as Head Master/Mistress in Government school.

C. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL HEAD MASTER/HEAD MISTRESS.
1. 50% from Head Masters/Mistresses of Lower Primary School
Class XII pass and Basic Teacher Training Certificate recognized by NCTE and with 3 yrs. of regular service in Government school as Head Master/Head Mistress in Lower Primary school.
2. 50% from Primary Teachers
Class XII pass and Basic Teacher Training Certificate recognized by NCTE and having 8 yrs of regular service as Primary Teacher in Government school.

SELECTION PROCEDURE :
1st Stage : Written Examination (there will be 3 papers)
a. General English - 50 (fifty)Marks
b. General Knowledge - 50 (fifty)Marks
c. Main Subjects - 300 (three hundred)Marks
2nd Stage : After qualifying the written exam, classroom teaching and Viva – Voce -- 50 marks.
