The Civil Engineering Programme Office (CEPO) at ISRO Headquarters Bangalore and Construction and Maintenance Division (CMDs) located at Various ISRO Centres/Units are responsible for the realization of all ground based structure Buildings for Indian Space Programme. ISRO needs young and dynamic Technicians in the following discipline to work in CEPO and CMDs.

ISRO offers the position of Technical Assistant (Electrical) in the Pay Band of Rs.9300-34800 +Grade Pay Rs.4600/-. in the following anticipated vacancies in CEPO and CMD at ISRO HQ, Bangalore.

Eligibility :
Diploma in Electrical Engineering in First Class. Or its certified equivalent.

Age Limit :
** 35 years as on the last date prescribed for receipt of application (40 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 38 years for OBC candidates).
** Ex-servicemen and Persons with Disabilities(PWD) are eligible for age relaxation as per Govt. of India orders.

Job Specification :
Nature of Work :
** Maintenance of existing electrical installations in various ISRO Housing colonies and facility building, including DG set, Substation, lighting installations, Pump sets etc.,
** Supervision of construction activities relating to Electrical works
** Technical works including tendering, processing bids, related to electrical works

Fee : DD for Rs.100/- from any of the Nationalized Bank in favour of the Senior Accounts Officer, ISRO HQ., Bangalore payable at Bangalore.

Selection Process :
** The qualification prescribed is the minimum requirement and same does not automatically make candidates eligible for Interview.
** Based on bio-data, initial screening based on a cut off marks (to be decided later) will be conducted to short-listed candidates for Interview. The short listed candidates will be intimated to attend the Interview to be held at ISRO Headquarters, Bangalore.
** Candidates attending the Interview will be reimbursed to and fro second class train fare by the shortest route from the address given in the application to the place of Interview.
