Admission Notice For Craft Instructor Training Courses-Modular Pattern

Applications are invited for admission to “Craft Instructor Training Courses-Modular Pattern” in ATI-EPI, Dehradun for the session 2012-2013 commencing from 1st August 2012. The training is to be imparted in Electronic Mechanic and IT & ESM trades.

Training Pattern :
Training will be provided on Modular Pattern of 4 modules(3 months duration each) starting from 1st August 2012 in 4 quarters as per the schedule given below.
First Quarter : 1st August 2012 to 31st October 2012
Second Quarter : 1st November 2012 to 31st January 2013
Third Quarter : 1st February 2013 to 30th April 2013
Fourth Quarter : 1st May 2013 to 31st July 2013

Eligibility : Diploma in relevant branch of Engineering or National Apprenticeship Certificate or National Trade Certificate in relevant trade.

Age : 18 to 40 years, upper age relaxable for 5 years for SC/ST candidates. No age bar for sponsored candidates.

Selection : Eligible sponsored candidates will be admitted directly. Selection of private candidates will be made on merit basis only.

Merit Criteria :
** First preference will be given to the Govt. Instructors sponsored by State Directorates and Second preference will be given to the Instructors nominated by Affiliated Private ITIs.
** Remaining seats, if any, will be filled-up from Private candidates based on merit basis.
** Seats are reserved for Private candidates in various categories as per rules of Govt. of India.

Training procedure, objective and certificate :
These courses will provide comprehensive training in skill development and Training Methodology including Principles of Teaching so as to make the trainees qualified trained Instructors for Govt./Pvt. ITIs and industry. Successful trainees will be awarded „National Craft Instructor Certificate? by NCVT, Ministry of Labour & Employment, Govt. of India on completion of all the prescribed modules of a trade. However, Mark-sheet after completion of each module will be issued by the Institute.

Attendance :
80% attendance is required for appearing in the examination under Modular Pattern of CITS.

Fee :
Demand Draft /IPO for Rs. 50/- as Registration fee in favour of DDO, ATI-EPI, Dehradun along with Application Form/Nomination Form.
