Counselling & Admission Process :
Online Registration & Payment of Counselling Fees
There will be two type of candidates who will be eligible for counselling
Type 1 : Through JEM-2012
Type 2 : Through AIEEE-2012

Online Registration by both types of candidates is allowed only in 1st round of counselling through single interface irrespective whether they are eligible through JEM or AIEEE. No fresh registrations will be allowed in the 2nd and 3rd rounds of counselling. Candidates can get themselves registered online from any internet point during counselling period.
All eligible candidates are required to register ONLINE through Internet (http://wbjeeb.nic.in) from places convenient to them.

After successful registration, a candidate are also required to download the e-challan from the same website and pay an amount of Rs. 500/- as counselling fees (Non-Refundable) in any branch of United Bank of India (UBI) with Core Banking System (CBS).

Norms for updating Candidate’s personal data during registration

Category, PH status, Tuition Fee Waiver status, State of Domicile, Religion, Gender etc. Once declared by candidate in the JEM-2012 Application Form, cannot be changed at the counselling time. In case of any changes, candidate should approach the WBJEEB directly before registration.

Only those Candidates who have registered online and made payment of counselling fee and also enter payment details are eligible for choice filling.

Eligibility Conditions :
Age Restriction : Candidate must be 17 (seventeen) years of age or above as on 31.12.2012. There is no upper age limit except for the Marine Engineering Courses for which the upper age limit is 25 years as on 31.07.2012.

Based on JEM-2012 Eligibility : WBJEEB shall publish a General Merit Rank (GMR) of all appearing candidates. Eligible candidates can fill the choices as per their eligible categories including Open seats.

Based on AIEEE-2012 Eligibility : There will be single cut-off i.e. Eligibility of the candidates for both stream (Engineering & Architecture) will be decided based on AIEEE-2012 examination result and seat will be allotted as per All India Rank (AIR).

10 Withdrawal at Reporting Centres 12th to 14th July, 2012 (10 AM to 5 PM)
11 Vacancy due to non-reporting & withdrawal 16th July, 2012
12 Approval by the competent authority for conversion of seats on the basis of MIS reports 17th - 18th July, 2012
13 3rd Round of seat allotment Result 22nd July, 2012
14 Remote admission at Reporting Centre (Fresh allottee only) after 3rd round of seat allotment 23rd to 25th July, 2012 (10 AM to 5 PM)
15 Physical reporting at final allotted institutes by all candidates who have allotted a seat in any rounds 26th to 31st July, 2012
16 e-Admission Process Closed 31st July, 2012
