Name of the post : Master (Foreign Going)
No. of Post : 02
Pay : Rs. 90,000/- (Consolidated)
Qualifications : Certificate of Competency issued or recognized by the Government of India as Master of Foreign Going Ship. Undergone DGS approved Training for Trainers and Assessors (TOTA)
Experience : At least 5 years on Merchant Ships at management / senior level.
Age : Not to exceed 70 years.

Name of the post : Chief Engineer (Foreign Going)/ MEO Class-I (Foreign Going)
No. of Post : 02
Pay : Rs. 90,000/- (Consolidated)Qualifications: Certificate of Competency issued or recognized by the Government of India as Marine Engineering Officer Class-I (MEO CL-I). Undergone DGS approved Training for Trainers and Assessors (TOTA)
Experience : At least 5 years service on Merchant Ships at management / senior level.
Age : Not to exceed 70 years.

Name of the post : Instructors (Seaman Ship, Nautical, Drill/ Parade, Marine Engg, Electrical & warden ship)

Pay : Rs.15,000/- (Consolidated)
A. NAUTICAL : Eligibility: Held a rank not lower than Petty Officer (Nautical) in Indian Navy OR Junior Deck Officer OR Bosun (Serang) on a Merchant Ship.
B. SEAMANSHIP : Eligibility: Held a rank not lower than Petty Officer (Seamanship) in Indian Navy OR Junior Deck Officer OR Deck Serang on a Merchant Ship.
C. DRILL & PARADE : Eligibility: Held a rank not lower than Petty Officer (Gunnery / Infantry) in Indian Navy OR not lower than ASI in any Para Military Force / Police Force.
D. MARINE ENGINEERING : Eligibility: Fitters with 5 years experience on Merchant Ships OR Ex-navy Instructors with qualification as Mechanician OR Diploma holders with experience in Merchant Vessels as Junior Engineer.
E. ELECTRICAL : Eligibility: Electrician with 5 years experience on Merchant Ships OR Ex-Navy Instructors with qualification as Electrician OR Diploma Holders with experience in Merchant Vessels as Junior Engineer.

Age : From A – E the Age Not to exceed 60 years.
