The Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management - Kerala is set up in 2000 by the Government of Kerala to be the state's premier institute in teaching and research of Information Technology and related disciplines. The Institute offers post graduate programmes using state-of-the-art IT support and infrastructure. The following temporary posts are required to support some of the research and services offered by IIITM-K, which include Educational technologies, multi media, scientific computing, agriculture and geo informatics. Services hosted by the institute include moodle, wiki, svn, portals for education, agriculture, GIS, computational chemistry, scientific computing, and multimedia, etc.

Name of the post : Research Assistant (Machine learning and Statistics)

Qualification : First Class BE/BTech/MSc with strong background in mathematics and some academic experience in statistical analysis and pattern recognition techniques. The candidate is expected to have well developed English language skills. A minimum of 60% marks in the qualification degree is required to be considered for this post. The candidate should have very good exposure in advanced C or MATLAB. Fresh graduates who aspire for high quality research are encouraged to apply. Qualification : First Class BE/BTech/MSc with academic research experience in image processing or Electronics or VLSI techniques. A minimum of 60% marks in the qualification degree is required to be considered for this post. The candidate should have very good exposure in advanced MATLAB/C/OpenCV/C++/ ITK. Name of the post : Research Assistant (Circuits and Systems in Machine Intelligence)

Qualification : Masters in Engineering/Technology/IT/Computer Applications with Signal processing/Pattern recognition/ Image processing as one of the subjects and some academic research experience in design and analysis of neural inspired Circuits, algorithms and Systems. For MCA graduates a minimum of 80% marks and/or top 3 university rank in the qualification degree is required to be considered for this post. MTech/MSc(IT) graduates are required to have atleast one high quality peer-reviewed journal publication, having a SJR rating of Q1. The candidate should have very good understanding and exposure in CUDA and advanced C programming. Fresh graduates who aspire for high quality research are encouraged to apply. Selection of the candidate will be based on a technical and personal interview.

Remuneration & Experience : Rs. 12,000/- per month (consolidated). Those with 2 years and above relevant experience will be offered Rs 15,000/- p.m.

Qualification : First Class BE/B.Tech/M.tech with strong background in C/C++ programming and some academic experience in the usage of MATLAB. A minimum of 60% marks in the qualification degree is required. Prior knowledge in Open CV/ITK is a desirable but not necessary requirement. Fresh graduates who aspire for high quality research are encouraged to apply. Selection of the candidate will be based on a personal interview and a Skills Test.
Remuneration : For BE/B.Tech Graduates : Rs.10000, For M.Tech graduates Rs. 12,000 per month (consolidated).

Name of the post : Research Assistant (MR Imaging)

Qualification : First Class BE/B.Tech/M.Tech with academic background in Biomedical engineering/ Electronics/ Computer Sciences. A minimum of 60% marks in the qualification degree is required. Prior experience in MR sequencing/ MR imaging will be given weightage. The candidate should have very good exposure in MATLAB. Knowledge in C/OpenCV is desirable. Fresh graduates who aspire for high quality research are encouraged to apply. Selection of the candidate will be based on a skills test followed by interview.
Remuneration : For BE/B.Tech Graduates : Rs.10000, For M.Tech graduates Rs. 12,000 per month (consolidated).
