Fin Temperature Distribution using Finite Difference Method The analysis of temperature distribution and heat flow through a finned surface having geometry of one- and two dimensions was done. The objective was to provide a better insight to the physical significance of various parameters that affect heat transfer through finned surfaces.
Study and Analysis of Fuels and Firing system in UV-60 Boiler The project was done in Fertilizers and Chemicals Travancore Ltd (FACT)-Kochin. The UV-60 boiler were studied in detail emphasis was laid on the fuels and firing system of the boiler. The fuel consumption, combustion efficiency etc were calculated a method of improving the efficiency was carried out in the result.
