UTTARAKHAND TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY
M.TECH/M.PHARM ADMISSION
SESSION 2012-2013

Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun will permit admission to M.Tech/M.Pharm Programmes of two years duration in university and various institutions affiliated to university.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :
** The applicant admitted in M.Tech/M.Pharm programme must have at least;
1. For General/OBC candidates 60%marks in B.Tech/B.Pharm or equivalent
2. For SC/ST candidates 55%marks in B.Tech/B.Pharm or equivalent
3. Pass the University online entrance examination
4. Candidates having 60% marks and valid GATE/GPAT score General/OBC or 55% of marks and valid GATE/GPAT score, SC/ST candidates will be given preference in admission. Such candidates are not require to appear in University entrance examination.
** Reservation shall be applicable as per State Government Norms.
** For admission to M.Tech candidate should be B.Tech degree from recognized University under 2(f) of UGC act 1956 in the relevant field.
** The equivalency of any degree for admission to any programme will be decided by University. The eligibility criteria given above are minimum. University may prescribe any other requirements over and above these conditions.

SELECTION PROCEDURE :
** The admission to M.Tech /M.Pharm programme for AICTE approved institutions shall be based on the merit of valid score secured by the GATE/GPAT candidate must have valid minimum GATE/GPAT score as per eligibility criterion
** For seats available after counselling of valid GATE/GPAT score holders the admission will be based on the merit of Entrance Examination conducted by UTU.
** The result of Entrance Exam as well as merit of valid GATE/GPAT score holders called for counselling. Will be published on University website
** The number of seats programme. Institution and/or University study centre may change.

SYLLABUS : The Syllabus for the entrance examination will be the same as of GPAT / GATE 2012.

CENTER OF EXAMINATION : The Online Entrance Exam-2012 for M.Tech/M.Pharm will be held at Dehradun.

Fee :
Demand draft of 1500/-(for General and OBC candidate)/Rs.800/- (SC/ST candidates) in favour of “Finance Controller” Uttarakhand Technical University, Payable at Dehradun.

Tell me Can I get admission in DIT?

If i didn't get admission in government college in first round of UTU counselling and I had taken admission in Birla(bhimtal) and in second round I get Dwarahat, is the fee that I had deposited at Bhimtal is refundable?

You need a very good rank in AIEEE. As DIT is one of the most famous college of Uttarakhand. You did not mention your state category rank. Yes, there is a chance to get it in DIT. All the best.
