Duration for M.C.A. Courses :
** The normal duration of the MCA course for regular full time candidates shall be 3 years.
** Teaching in each academic year is divided into two semesters.

MCA Admission :
The minimum eligibility condition for admission to first semester of the course shall be as follows:
** Bachelor Degree in any discipline with mathematics as compulsory subject at 10+2 level or at Graduation level such as B.Com /BCA/BA/BSc of minimum three years duration from a recognized university. The candidate must have clearly passed with an aggregate of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).
** The admission would be made on the basis of the merit of Entrance Test

Fee :
DD of Rs.1000/- (250/-for SC/ST)in the favour of ‘Registrar, YMCAUST Faridabad’ payable at Faridabad by 20.06.2012 (04.00 PM).

Entrance Test :
The eligible applicants will have to qualify the MCA Aptitude Entrance Test (on 13- 7-2012, Friday). This test will be of 1.5 hours duration having 80 questions of one mark each with no negative marking.

** Last date for receipt of Application forms duly filled in for admission at the University : 20.06.2012(Wednesday).
** Date of Entrance Test : 13-7-2012(Friday), 10:00 to 11:30AM (Reporting time 9:30 A.M.), Venue: YMCAUST, Sector-6, FARIDABAD.
** Date of Declaration of results on University Website &Notice Board : 17-7-2012(Tuesday)
** Date of Counseling for admission to MCA : 26.07.2012 (Thursday, 9.30 a.m.)
** Date of Commencement of the classes : 01.08.2012(Wednesday)
** Date of second Counseling (For vacant seats) : 14.08.2012(Tuesday)

Note :
Candidates seeking admission should submit application complete in all respects on the prescribed form in their own handwriting and must also enclose attested copies of the following:
(i) Graduation Certificates showing the detailed marks in the qualifying examination on the basis of which admission is being sought.
(ii) Matriculation/ Hr. Secondary Examination Certificate as a proof of age.
(iii)Valid Certificate of SC/ST/Reservation category for Haryana state residents from the Competent Authority, in case admission is sought against SC/ ST /Reservation category.
