Sub : Recruitment of Probationary Officers in Junior Management Grade Scale – I in the Bank – Display of names of the candidates who have been selected for appointment in the Bank.

Attention of all the concerned is drawn to our Advertisement No.PD/HRDD/REC/03/2011 dated 24.12.2011 displayed in the Bank’s website www.syndicatebank.in inviting applications from eligible candidates for the post of Probationary Officers in Junior Management Grade Scale – I, from the pool of Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS : Mumbai on 18.09.2011 and 13.11.2011.

The list of provisionally selected candidates, roll number-wise, for the post of Probationary Officers in Junior Management Grade Scale – I in SyndicateBank, is appended in the Annexure.

The list is purely provisional, subject to their finding medically fit, fulfilling all eligibility criteria in respect of Age, Category, Date of Birth, Educational Qualifications, Computer Literacy, Caste/PWD Certificate as per the Government of India approved formats, wherever applicable, with acceptable documentary evidence thereof, as stipulated in the Advertisement dated 24.12.2011, published in Bank’s website and submission of all required documents/certificates/ papers as set out in the offer of appointment.

Based on the marks obtained in the Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS and the marks secured in the subsequent personal Interview, the cut-off marks (out of 350), for selection under various categories are furnished herebelow :

Offer of appointments to the selected candidates are being issued separately in batches, in the order of merit. The selected candidates will be called for Induction Training at our Training Centres in batches. Candidates whose names are not found in the enclosed list are requested to treat this as individual intimation that they have not been selected in the Bank and no further correspondence will be entertained. It may please be noted that no telephone enquiries also will be entertained in respect of candidates whose names are not appearing in the list. Decision of the Bank in all matters pertaining to selection process shall be final and binding.

The Bank has announced the result of the candidates, except the candidates falling under the sub-quota of 4.5% provided for Minorities out of 27% of the quota earmarked for Other Backward Classes candidates, in view of the order of the Division Bench of the Hon’ble High Court of Andhra Pradesh dated 28.05.2012 quashing the Memorandum dated 22.12.2011 providing for sub-quota for minorities. The withheld results of the said candidates/Other Backward Classes to that extent, will be announced after finalization of the litigation concerning the Memorandum dated 22.12.2011 issued by the Government of India.
