Applications are invited from Indian Nationals to fill up 752 vacant posts of Constable (Driver) in Delhi Police under the following categories,

Age (As on 01.01.2012) 21 to 30 years as on 01.01.2012 relaxable upto :-
(i) 35 years for SC/ST and departmental candidates.
(ii) 33 years for OBC candidates.
(iii)Ex-servicemen as per rules.

Educational & other Qualification :
(i) 10th Pass
(ii) Should be able to drive heavy vehicles with confidence.
(iii) Valid HTV driving licence for driving heavy motor vehicles.
(iv) Should possess knowledge of maintenance of vehicles.

Physical Standard :
Height : Minimum 170 cms.
Relaxable by 5 cms for residents of hill areas & ST candidates.
Chest : Minimum 81 cms to 85 cms (with minimum of 4 cms expansion).
Relaxable by 5 cms for residents of hill areas & ST candidates.

MODE OF FILLING UP OF APPLICATION FORMS
EMPLOYMENT NEWS APPLICATION FORM AND TYPED/PHOTOCOPIED APPLICATION FORM
(OFF LINE) :
i) Applicant may cut the application form given in this advertisement, fill it up and send or Application form can also be typed/photocopied on A4 size paper as per the format given in the advertisement, fill it up and send.
ii) Application Form as per format given in the advertisement/website only will be accepted.

iii) A recent coloured passport size (35mm x 45mm) photograph with name plate taken in red background should be firmly affixed at the appropriate place in the Application Form.

iv) A Demand/Bank Draft/Banker's cheque of R 100/- shall be attached as fee in favour of DCP/Recruitment Cell, New Police Lines, Delhi (payable at Delhi) which should be valid for 3 months.

v) Duly filled-in application forms alongwith Demand/Bank Draft/Banker's cheque should be sent through ordinary post to "Post Box No. 8020, Delhi-110033" and write on the top of the envelope “Application for the Post of Constable (Driver) in Delhi Police -2012”.

ii) Click on the “Recruitment” on the delhipolice.nic.in or “Apply On line for Constable (Driver) in Delhi Police - 2012" link on the websites delhipolicerecruitment.nic.in desired application form will open, which the candidate needs to fill carefully on online.

iii) After filling the form, candidate needs to click on Preview button; a preview of the entire information filled in the application form will be displayed. Before clicking Save/Submit Application button, one can click on Modify Application button to go back to modify the filled application form information.

iv) Applicants are required to send the print out of filled in application form on A4 paper alongwith the fee of R 100/- in the form of Demand/Bank Draft/Banker's cheque in favour of DCP/Recruitment Cell, New Police Lines, Delhi (Payable at Delhi) through ordinary post to Post Box No. 8020, Delhi-110033, and write on the top of the envelope “Application for the Post of Constable (Driver) in Delhi Police -2012".
