Sangeet Natak Akademi, an autonomous body of Government of India, Ministry of Culture invites applications for the post of SECRETARY, Sangeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi.

Scale of pay :
PB - 3 Rs.15,600 - 39,100 + grade pay Rs.7600/-, plus admissible Central Government allowances. As the principal executive officer, the Secretary’s job entails planning, control and coordination of all activities of the Akademi. The post will be filled on contract basis initially for five years and is extendable by three years.

Qualifications and experience :
Post-graduate degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in social sciences / humanities / language / literature / music / dance / drama; wide ranging understanding and knowledge of the performing arts as performer / writer / editor / producer etc.; not less than 10 years administrative experience in a responsible position entailing formulation, planning and execution of projects in the field of performing arts.

Age : between 45 - 50 years
