Name of the Position : PROJECT JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF-Project)
Fellowship Amount : For 1st & 2nd year 16,000/- p.m.(consolidated) & 18,000/-p.m. (consolidated) for the subsequent years + HRA as applicable.

Educational Qualifications : First Class M.Sc. in Physics/ Atmospheric Science / Space Physics / Meteorology with 65% marks or above or M.Tech in Atmospheric Science / Space Technology with 60% marks or above.

Name of the Position : RESEARCH ASSOCIATES (RA)
Fellowship Amount : 22,000/-p.m. (Consolidated) + HRA as applicable.
No.of Positions : 04
Educational Qualifications : Doctorate (Ph.D) in Physics, or ME /M.Tech in Atmospheric Science/ Space Technology with at least 3 years of research or teaching experience.

Eligibility :
1. Post Graduate Degree must be in FIRST CLASS with 65% aggregate marks or above (Aggregate of all semesters/years).
2. Candidates, who are slated to complete the course in the academic year 2011-12 are also eligible to apply provided final P.G degree is available by 30/06/2012.

Age Limit : Less than 30 years as on the last date fixed for receipt of application.

Selection Process : Mere fulfillment of essential qualifications and experience do not vest any right in a candidate for being called for Test/Interview. A duly constituted Screening Committee shall screen the applications received for the post and organize a written test, if considered necessary for short-listing the candidates for interview. The Laboratory reserves the right to call for Test/Interview only those candidates who in its opinion are likely to be suitable and will not entertain any correspondence in this regard.
