Essential Qualifications for the post of Assistant Professor/Lecturer :
Good academic record with atleast 55% marks (50% for candidates belonging to SC/ST or those who passed their Master's degree prior to 19.9.91 and hold a Ph.D. degree) or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point Scale with letter grades O,A,B,C,D,E & F at the Master's Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign university.
Candidates should have qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Assistant Professors/Lecturers conducted by the UGC/CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC.

For B.El.Ed. :
(i) One post is for Psychology with essential qualification-M.A. (Psychology) or Applied Psychology (with specialisation in Clinical Psychology/Counselling/M.S.W. (with Specialisation in Personality Development and Counselling) and Post graduate degree/research in Education.
(ii) One post in Social Science with essential qualification-M.A. Social Science and postgraduate professional degree in Education.
(iii) One post each in Physical Science with M.Sc. in Physical Sciences and postgraduate professional degree in Education
(iv) One post each in Biological Science with M.Sc. in Biological Sciences and post graduate professional degree in Education.
(v) One post in Education with M.A. in Philosophy and post graduate degree in Education/professional degree in Education/M.A. Social Science/M.Sc, Science and post graduate professional degree in Education.
(vi) One post in Language Hindi or English with M.A. in English or Hindi and post graduate professional degree in Education.
