Job Description
As a Content evangelists (Full-time & Part-time Positions are available) would be required to do the following:
- Take a lead role in developing and evangelizing specific SlideShare
verticals (or categories) both on SlideShare and on the web outside SlideShare.
There are about 20 categories - you should be an expert in
at least 2 or more (understand content in that area, maintain a blog which covers that industry).
List of categories : Automotive, Books, Business & Mgmt, Career, Design, Education, Entertainment, Fashion & Beauty, Finance, Gadgets & Reviews, Health & Medicine, How-to & DIY, Humor, Pets, Photos, Real Estate, Technology, Templates & Forms.
Responsibilities include:
- Categorize existing SlideShare content into verticals (both manual
categorization and using automated algorithms or simple heuristics)
- Create strategically relevant content for specific categories.
- Reach out to key influencers and bloggers in that category.
Encourage them to use SlideShare.
- Maintain a blog in that category, aggregate content from other bloggers
- Encourage growth of that community around those verticals on SlideShare
- Reach out to conferences in verticals and encourage them to use SlideShare
- Organise specific events (web based contests, roadshows) around verticals

Desired Candidate Profile
Your background:
Graduate with English/Communication/Journalism Honours.
Good communication skills and writing ability.
Prior experience with internet industry is a must.
You should be involved with and understand online content and media.
Have excellent writing skills (you can show us samples of your blog,articles).
Have good editorial ability. Maintain a blog, have proven examples of using web to reach large audiences through blogs or other means.
