Assam Rifles recruitment rally will be held at Dimapur (Nagaland), NRS-Dimapur and Lokhra (Assam), {NRS-Tezpur/NRS-Rangapara (NORTH)} from 18 Jul 2012 onwards for enrolment of 242 vacancies (male candidates) from following States for the posts mentioned against each:-

RECRUITMENT RALLY AT DIMAPUR (NAGALAND) :
Tradesmen : BB, Carpenter, Cook, EBR, Painter, Safai, Tailor, WM
Total Vacancies : 128

RECRUITMENT RALLY AT LOKHRA (ASSAM) :
Tradesmen : BB, Carpenter, Cook, EBR, Painter, Safai, Tailor, WM
Total Vacancies : 114

Qualitative Requirement : The qualitative requirement (QR) for recruitment is class X and to qualify the departmental professional Trade Test of the Trade for which the candidate is seeking enrolment.

Age : Between 18 to 23 years as on 1st Aug 2012. Upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years to OBC and 5 years to SC/ST Candidates

Physical Efficiency Test :
(a) 5 Km run - Candidates to qualify within 24 Minutes.
(b) 11 ft long jump - Candidates to qualify in maximum 3 chances.
(c) 3 ½ ft high jump

(d) NO PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TEST WILL BE HELD FOR EX-SERVICEMEN. HOWEVER, EX-SERVICEMEN WILL BE REQUIRED TO PASS THE REQUISITE MED EXAMINATION.

“APPLICATION FOR TRADESMEN RALLY AT DIMAPUR” or “APPLICATION FOR TRADESMEN RALLY AT LOKHRA” be endorsed on top of the cover under which the application is being submitted.

Applications will be accepted only by post.

How to Apply :
Candidates shall submit their applications from the date 21 May 2012 to 19 Jun 2012 as per the attached format to the address mentioned below along with a Demand Draft for Rs. 50/- (Rupees fifty only) in favour of the Directorate General Assam Rifles payable at SBI DGAR, Shillong, Code No. 7338.

Applications received thereafter i.e. 19 Jun 2012 will not be entertained. SC and ST candidates are exempted from application fee. No cash/postal order will be accepted.
