3 Yr. (6 Semesters) Part Time M.Tech. Courses :

(18) 2 yr. (4 semesters) M.Tech. Course in Textile Technology (Technical Textiles) in the Dept. of Jute & Fibre Technology, IJT, 35 B.C. Road, Kolkata – 700019.

Final Semester / Year appeared candidates may also apply except part-time courses in Applied Physics Department

Eligibility :
C.U. candidate means the candidate who passed B. Tech../B.E./MCA/M.Sc. Examination from C. U. as eligibility degree for admission in relevant M. Tech. courses and Non-CU candidate means the candidate who passed the same degree from other University.

Fee :
Application Fee may be deposited by Bank Demand Draft in favour of “Calcutta University” payable at Kolkata or by cash at CU CASH COUNTER at Rajabazar Science College Campus.
Application Fee : Rs.200/- (for GENERAL candidate) and Rs.100/- (for SC/ST/PH candidate) for each group of application.. Rs. 1/- (Rupees One) extra for Challan fee.

How To Apply :
i) Application to be submitted through online only. No Hardcopy of Application Form will be issued. For online application please logon to www.caluniv-ucsta.net.
ii) Printed Copy of Application Form generated after online submission is to be submitted along with attested copies of
both sides of marksheets (10th level and onwards), GATE Score Card and other relevant testimonials in the office of the
Secretary,
University of Calcutta,
Rajabazar Science College Campus ,
92, Acharyya Prafulla Chandra Road,
Kolkata - 700 009,
between 11 A.M. to 2 P.M and 3 P.M. to 4 P.M. on all working days except. Saturday, Sunday and Holidays.

At The Time Of Online Submission :
At the time of online submission following to be kept with the candidate for ready reference.
1. Copy of all marksheets
2. Copy of Date of Birth Proof.
3. Email address of the candidate
4. Soft copy of scan passport size photograph. 3.5 cm x 3.5 cm (not more than 15 KB)
5. GATE Score Card
6. Information about Monthly income of Father / Mother / Spouse of the candidate.
Application Form, Fee Deposition Challan, Hall Ticket (for CSA only) etc. automatically generated by the computer, after online submission of application are to be printed by downloading.
