Job Description
Reporting to the Manger of Tools and Application Development, the Team Lead/Sr. Developer will be responsible for leading a team in the design and development of web tools, applications and services to support CCIâs Global Sales and Engineering organizations.
Candidates must have a solid understanding of how web services interact between multiple platforms and technologies. Candidates will develop and manage a team to build and manage a well-designed multi-tier system that allows future flexibility and scalability as well as a framework that will support future web services development, and will be expected to mentor other developers in the team.
Candidates must possess strong project management and technical skills with experience deploying multi-tiered Web-centric applications, and must have experience in all stages of solution delivery.

Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction in all stages of solution delivery including analysis/scope, design, construction, testing, deployment, and post-install support.
- Collaborate with the IT management, business subject matter experts, and technical resources from other disciplines to define end to end solutions to meet the assigned business requirements
- Manage the development team activities, providing mentoring and coaching to build a highly productive team in a high performance environment.
- Build relationships with peers and other departments to achieve objectives, to work as one team and to secure necessary resources not under his/her personal control.
- Perform technical walkthroughs, code reviews and test plan reviews.
- Establish and maintain a development environment along with change management procedures for controlled application development, testing and release.
- Ensure compliance with test and release processes, including developing test plans, scripts, and results documentation.
- Manage the delivery of quality support/services and provide recommendations for continuous improvements.
- Establish expectations with project members and stakeholders and provide timely feedback
- Provide support for existing web applications, automated procedures, and solutions as needed.

Desired Candidate Profile
Candidates should have:
- 6+ years demonstrated development experience, with at least 2+ years in a .NET lead position.
- 4+ years experience in .NET framework 2.0, 3.0/3.5 is added advantage, web applications, and Localization and web services required.
- Demonstrated experience specific to analysis, design, and testing activities on software development/maintenance projects in medium/large organizations, and in a distributed development environment. Emphasis on Microsoft Development tools required.
- Demonstrated experience as a project architect/team lead in significant IT projects with strong knowledge of technical project management and resource scheduling.
- Superior configuration management knowledge (code and infrastructure), including build processes and deployment planning.
- Demonstrated innovative unit testing techniques that reduce rework time.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively operate in a multi-tasking environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of relational database experience using Microsoft SQL 2000/2005 and query tools, including CLR stored procedures, DTS and database security & Performance Tuning.
- Adequate knowledge of Windows 2000/2003 operating systems and client-server operations.
- IIS administration, planning, and deployment experience a strong plus.
- Microsoft Visual Studio Team System / Team Foundation server experience preferred.
- ASP.NET, HTML/DHTML, XML, XPATH, XSLT, Java Script, AJAX Techniques, stored procedures.
- Experience with .NET Custom controls.
- Knowledge of Design patterns is added advantage.
- Knowledge on MOSS 2007 is a plus.

Education:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field.
