Admission to IMBE Programme 2012

The Integrated MBE 5-year (10-semester) full-time programme 2012 offered at the Birla Institute of Technology Extension Centre Noida. The programme will commence in July 2012.

On the successful completion of the 5-year programme, the students will be awarded the Master in Business Economics (MBE) Degree. Students, who may prefer an early exit, may exercise option for the same before the end of the 4th semester in order to enable them to complete 6 Semesters adding to a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Economics [BBA (BE)].

Eligibility Criteria :
1) Candidates must have 60% (50% for SC/ST) marks in Class 10 (average of all subjects).
2) Candidates must have passed with 60% (50% for SC/ST) marks (average of 4 core subjects as indicated below) in Class 12 / QE (Equivalent Qualifying Examination).
3) Percentage of marks in Class 12 to be computed as average of English + best 3 other core subjects.

Selection Procedure:
Provisional selections for the Integrated MBE programme will be based on merit determined by marks obtained in Class 12/Equivalent Qualifying examination (QE), computed as in Eligibility Criteria.

Fee :
A Crossed Demand Draft of Rs. 2,000/- (General) and Rs.1,200/- (SC/ST) candidates (non – refundable) in favor of “Birla Institute of Technology”, payable at Noida.

How to Apply :
To apply for the Integrated MBE programme 2012, eligible candidates must download the application form from our website and submit it at BIT Noida and Demand Draft. Send a printout of the completed form along with
** Two recent color photographs (one pasted on the form and one attached by clip to the form)
** Photocopies of all marksheets and certificates (see List of Enclosures)
** Demand draft
** In a stout A4 size envelope by Speedpost / reliable courier to the office of
Director,
Birla Institute of Technology,
A-7, Sector-1,
Noida -201301 positively by the due date.
Write “Application for Integrated MBE 2012 on top of the envelope”.

Important Dates :
Downloading of form commences on : 21 May 2012
Last date for receipt of printouts of duly completed form + Demand Draft : 15 June 2012
Counselling schedules to be displayed by : 25 June 2012
Tentative dates of counseling : 3-5 July 2012
Tentative Date of Admission : 6 July 2012 onwards
Classes will commence from : 16 July 2012 at Noida Centre
