1. General Manager – Marketing & Sales
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for managing exhibitions, conferences and events organized by Intel Trade Fairs & Expositions Pvt. Ltd. in India and Overseas.
Core Job Profile :
•You will be leading a Regional Sales Managers and Sales Executives to successfully org anise and record growth of various exhibitions.
•You are expected to establish and maintain contacts with trade associations, publications, key accounts, government agencies and other relevant industry groups.
•You are required to support and motivate Sales Managers and Project Sales Managers to achieve their sales targets and to assist them in growing the exhibitions/events/conferences they are responsible for
•To stimulate marketing in order to attract more visitors to various exhibitions organized by us
•To interact with the conference department to further grow the conference and attendees to the conference
Detailed Job Profile :
• Sales activities (including e-selling, phone selling, personal visits of clients, preparing
of mail shots and administration)
• Coordinating and supervising marketing and PR tools in cooperation with the
marketing department (brochures, press releases, web page, visitor marketing)
• Supervising the operations process to ensure the quality of manuals catalogs etc.
• Traveling to National and International trade fairs in order to attract new exhibitors
• Providing sales related information to management on a regular basis (weekly sales
report and upon request)
• Take responsibility for key accounts
• The overall coordination of the event on-site
• Customer care at the event on-site
• Input and supervision of the conference in cooperation with the conference manager
Qualifications :
• Very good command of English spoken and in writing
• 2-3 years experience in exhibition sales/ exhibition management
• Graduate (Business Administration is preferred)
• High degree in problem-solving competence
• Willingness to work hard in a dynamic market
• Openness towards other cultures and customs
• Result-oriented person with strong negotiating skills
2.Manager : Marketing & Sales
Main Tasks & Responsibilities :
• Marketing and Sales activities that include, e-selling, phone selling, preparing
of mail shots and administration
• You are required to support and motivate Team to achieve their sales targets and to assist them in growing the exhibitions/events/conferences
• To stimulate marketing in order to attract more exhibitors and visitors to exhibitions organized by us
• Traveling to National and International trade fairs in order to attract new exhibitors
• Analise selections from previous marketing plans and create effective selections based on this analysis in conjunction with the creative brief supplied
• Conduct research using all marketing tools to establish the most effective ways to contact and persuade the target market for the event
• Negotiate barter partnerships with the relevant magazines, trade associations and trade bodies and partners to include external list swaps, banner and hard copy advertising, email marketing etc to promote events through their channel
• Design and submit marketing/promotional campaigns to attract exhibitors, attendees and delegates
• Ensure event websites are fully up to date with latest information.
• Liaison with PR agency working on event campaign
• Coordination of design and production of all marketing media, including event brochures, print advertisements, web banners/emails etc.
• Copy writing and proofing of all marketing materials in conjunction with the designers, copywriters, printers and producers of such materials.
• Updating and adhering to agreed marketing budget
• Providing Key Performance Reports on fortnightly basis to Management.
• Building relevant and appropriate creativity into campaign wherever possible
• Overall coordination of the event and Customer care at the event on-site
Educational Qualification & General :
• Graduate with excellent communication skills
• Minimum 1 Year experience in similar capacity in an exhibition company
• Good Command over English – Spoken and Written
• Proficient in the use of MS Office including advanced Word and Excel
• Very Good understanding of direct marketing initiatives including mail and email marketing.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills with a creative flare
• Trustworthy and discrete with sensitive information
• Must be Team worker and must be able to built up a good rapport with the sales team and other colleagues.
3. Sales Manager
Reporting to General Manager – Marketing & Sales
Job Profile :
Planning and Executing sales activities by medium such as E-Selling, Telephone Selling, Personal Visits to Potential Exhibitors, Presentations, Preparing E-Mailers etc which lead to acquiring exhibitors/sale of exhibition space
•Providing sales reports on regular basis and market information to management that increases efficiency of space sale and conduct of the exhibition/event
•Holding the responsibility for key accounts within the region and ensuring good relationship with customers
•Assisting with the operations process to ensure the quality of manuals, catalogs etc.
•Attending Exhibitions in India and overseas in order to attract new exhibitors
Qualifications :
• Graduate with Degree in Marketing Management/ Mass Communication
•Good Communications Skills in English, Hindi
• At least 1 years sales experience, preferably in the exhibition business •Willingness to work hard in a dynamic market and achieve sales targets •Ability to work on own initiative and to strategies more efficient methods to sell space
• Result-oriented person with strong negotiating skills
