The Executive Council of the Hemchandrachrya North Gujarat University has resolved in its meeting held on January 23, 2012, that for the academic session 2012-13, a separate centralized admission committee will be working for the B.Ed. and M.Ed. admissions.

The functions of the committee are as follows:
The committee shall supervise, monitor and control the process of admission of the students seeking admissions for B.Ed. and M. Ed programme.

The committee shall have to prepare a merit list in accordance with the provisions of the Act and the Rules made there under.

The committee shall have to allocate the Government seats in accordance with the provisions of the Act and the Rules made there under.

The committee shall perform such other functions as may be entrusted to it by the University authority.
