Admission Notification for Integrated M.Sc. programmes 2012

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the following Integrated M.Sc. 5-year (10-semester) programmes of the Institute for the session 2012-13 at Mesra and our Extension Centres at Deoghar, Kolkata and Patna.

1. Integrated M.Sc. in Chemistry at Mesra (Deoghar from 2012)
Eligibility Criteria :
Pass in Class 12 / equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology and having at least 60% (50% for SC/ST) marks in average of 4 subjects - English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology

2. Integrated M.Sc. in Mathematics & Computing at Mesra (Kolkata and Patna from 2012)
Eligibility Criteria :
Pass in Class 12 / equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and having at least 60% (50% for SC/ST) marks in average of 4 subjects - English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics

3. Integrated M.Sc. in Physics at Mesra (Patna from 2012)
Eligibility Criteria :
Pass in Class 12 / equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and having at least 60% (50% for SC/ST) marks in average of 4 subjects - English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics

Fee :
Crossed Demand Draft for Rs.2,000/- (General) and Rs.1,200/- (SC/ST) candidates (non-refundable) in favour of “Birla Institute of Technology”, payable at Ranchi.

How to Apply :
To apply for any of the programmes listed above, eligible candidates must download and print the application form available on our website, and send the completed form along with two recent colour photographs, with photocopies of all marksheets and certificates , and a crossed Demand Draft, in a stout A4 size envelope by appropriate means well in advance of the due date (preferably by means of which e-tracking is possible) to the office of
