Applications are invited in the prescribed proforma from the candidates residing in Delhi and NCR area who are interested in doing the job of English Newsreader and Newsreader-cum-Translator (Indian Langauages ) in Sanskrit, Urdu, Kashmiri, Dogri, Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Assamese, Oriya, Arunachali, Nepali, Malayalam and Tamil languages on casual assignment basis in News Services Division, All India Radio, New Delhi .

Essential Qualfication :
The applicant should be Graduate from a recognized university and has suitable voice to broadcast.

Desirable Qualification :
(i) Should be familiar with computer.
(ii) Experience of journalistic work in Radio/TV

Age : The maximum age limit is 21 to 50 years as on 31.12.2011.

Fee :
The bank draft in favour of Director General(News), AIR, New Delhi payable at New Delhi may be sent alongwith the application.
i)Rs.300/- for General Category
ii)Rs.225/- for SC/ST/OBC Category

Mode of Selection :
Candidates securing 50% above marks will be called for audition/voice test. Those securing 50 per cent or more marks in the audition/voice test will be called for the interview before being placed on the panel.

i)The list of eligible candidates will be put up on the Website on 8th June 2012.
ii)The date and venue of the written test will also be put on the said website on 1st June 2012.
