Steel & Industrial Forgings Ltd., a Government of Kerala undertaking requires the following personnel :

Skilled Worker Trainee – 10 Nos.
Machinist – 1 No.
Fitter – 1 No.
Electrician – 1 No.,
Forger & Heat Treater (F & HT) – 6 Nos.
Draughtsman (Mechanical) – 1 No.
Unskilled Worker Trainee – 9 Nos.

Qualification :-
Skilled Worker Trainee : SSLC & ITI certificate in relevant trade plus completion of Apprenticeship under Apprentices Act 1961.
Unskilled Worker Trainee : Upto 8th Std. + Good physique

Age :-
Not to exceed 35 years (with usual relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/Ex-servicemen/Physically challenged candidates as per Govt. rules)

Stipend :-
Skilled Worker Trainee : Rs. 3,300/- per month during one year training period.
Unskilled Worker Trainee : Rs. 3,000/- per month during one year training period.

Scale of Pay :-
Skilled Worker Trainee : On successful completion of training, the trainees will be inducted into regular pay scale (G.7 Grade Rs. 4520-55-4740-70-5020-80-5340-90-5700-100-6100) on probation for 2 years plus DA and other allowances applicable to workmen as per long term agreement.
Unskilled Worker Trainee : On successful completion of training, the trainees will be inducted into regular pay scale (G.8 Grade Rs. 4360-40-4520-55-4740-70-5020-80-53340-90-5700) on probation for 2 years plus DA and other allowances applicable to workmen as per long term agreement.
