Profile Requirement for Technical Content Director (Requirement criteria)
Work Experience in IT industry for 5+ years, with at-least 3-4 years as Technical Writer /Trainer OR 1-2 years as Sr. Technical Writer / Sr. Trainer.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in clear concise and simple written form is required
Should have technical writing skills on technologies, such as Java/.Net/SQL/Oracle/Android, etc and preferred having worked in different technologies.
Development experience preferred but not essential.
Well versed with authoring tools and MS Office
Organizes, analyzes, and synthesizes complex subject matter and transforms it into easy-to-understand information for specific audiences.
Skill in forming good working relationships with others and extracting and collating information from multiple sources
Knowledge and understanding of Information Development Life Cycle. Develops or executes project plans and schedules, and delivers accurate and timely documentation.
Research skills, ability to rapidly absorb technical information, ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to interface, communicate, and translate information required by programmers
The ability to drive the necessary processes and standards to manage and produce quality documentation
Should be able to work with Logical/Analytical thinking ability and have the aptitude for problem solving and zeal for innovative solutions.

2) Roles and Responsibility for Technical Content Director (Job Description) :
Preparing technical contents on technologies like Java/.Net/SQL/Oracle/Android, etc and preparing examination papers and grading standards for the same.
Creating and maintaining knowledge repository on different technologies and methodologies (PPT, Video, Exam Paper, Evaluation paper)
Establish and maintain nexus of professional, technical and functional experts
Providing preliminary technical support for SPPL projects. Developing courseware and supporting materials, if required.
Follow up with subject matter experts for product, functional and technical information in order to develop highest quality documentation.
Able to handle multiple projects and perform independently or in a team environment.
Independently plans, coordinates, and executes documentation projects under general direction.
Participates in the design and development of documentation presentation, distribution systems, and existing processes by recommending solutions and improvements.
Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation for current and future applications i.e., technical reference manuals, guides and other related documents
Perform other related duties incidental as and when required.
