Applications are invited in prescribed format for the following temporary posts for a period of three years. The selected candidates may be considered for appointment on a permanent basis subject to an assessment.

1.Name of the post : Jr. Technical Superintendent in the Mechanical Engg.Deptt.
B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engg.
No.of posts : 1
Qualifications :
Desirable : Experience in erection/repair of refrigeration systems, operating experience on Liquid Nitrogen plant and /or Liquid Helium Plant. Good communication skills for conducting laboratory classes and/or tutorials.

2.Name of the post : Jr.Technical Superintendent in the Industrial Design Centre
No.of posts : 1
Qualifications : M.Sc./B.F.A./B.E.; or B.Sc. with 2 years relevant experience; or M.C.A. with one year experience. Knowledge of computer applications.

3. Name of the post : Jr.Technical Superintendent in the Civil Engg.Deptt.
No.of posts : 4
Qualifications :
SEMT Lab. : B.E./B.Tech./AMIE in Civil Engg.; or M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry.
Transportation Lab. : B.E./B.Tech./ AMIE in Civil Engineering.
Geodesy and Remote Sensing Lab. : B.E./B.Tech./ AMIE in Civil Engg./Computer Science & Engg.
Experimental Mechanics Lab. : B.E./ B.Tech./AMIE in Civil Engg. Experience in experimental works is desirable.

4.Name of the post : Sr.Library Information Assistant in the Central Library
No.of posts : 3
Qualifications :
Degree from a recognised University or equivalent.
(ii)Bachelor's degree/equivalent Diploma in Library Science of a recognised University/Institute obtained after graduation.
(iii) Experience of two years in a Library/ Computerisation of a Library or one year certificate in Computer application from a recognised Institution or equivalent. Candidate appointed to the post will be required to work on shift duties and on holidays, whenever necessary.

5.Name of the post : Junior Mechanic in the Electrical Maintenance Division
No.of posts : 1
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in appropriate field OR Diploma in Electrical Engg. of three years duration. Knowledge of computer applications.

6.Name of the post : Junior Mechanic in the Printing Press
No.of posts : 1
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in appropriate field OR Diploma in Printing Technology of three years duration. Knowledge of computer applications.

Pay band :
For posts at Sr.Nos.1 to 4 : Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4200/-
For posts at Sr.Nos.5 & 6 : Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.2000/-

Age limit :
For posts at Sr.Nos.1 to 4. : 32 years (relaxation as per rules)
For posts at Sr.Nos.5 & 6. : 32 years
