Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following posts in BHABHA ATOMIC RESEARCH CENTRE (BARC) at Leh/Hanle in the Ladakh region of Jammu & Kashmir.

Qualification :
Diploma/Licentiate in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 60% marks in Diploma (03 years after SSC or 2 years after HSC/B.Sc).
OR Diploma/Licentiate in Electrical Engineering with minimum 60% marks in Diploma (03 years after SSC or 2 years after HSC/B.Sc).
Age Limit : 18 years minimum & 30 years maximum as on 04/06/2012
Total Emoluments : Rs. 26200/- p.m. approx. (including House Rent Allowance & Traveling Allowance)

Qualification :
(i) H.S.C OR S.S.C. with minimum 60% marks in aggregate (HSC or SSC )with science and Maths.
(ii) Trade certificate of not less than one year duration recognised by the Competent Authority in the trade of Fitter.
Age Limit : 18 years minimum & 25 years maximum as on 04/06/2012
Total Emoluments : Rs. 15,700/- p.m. approx. (including House Rent Allowance & Traveling Allowance) Nature of duties for DR/01& DR/02 Operation and maintenance of 21m diameter MACE Gamma-ray telescope and other engineering infrastructure associated with it.

SELECTION PROCEDURE :
**Selection will be on the basis of performance in the interview. As regards DR/2 Trade Test and Interview will be the criteria for selection.
**Candidates will have an option to speak either in Hindi or English as he may wish at the time of interview.

- Pre Operational Load Test of Cargo Handling Equipment Lifting Tackles, Lifting Gears.
- Loose Cargo Gears Etc.
TESTING
- Pressure test
- Lifting Tackles
- Lifts & Hoists
- Carry out all Types of Inspection and Testing of all Categories of overhead ranes, Forklifts and other equipments.
- On Site experience in Companies like Transocean, Schlumberger, Baker- Atlas, Baker- Inteq, B.O.T, BG, Halliburton, BJ Services, Smith Services.
- Hands or experience related to safety precaution.
- Operating Horizontal Tensile Machine.
