Solapur Power Industrial Training Institute, Solapur registered under Societies Act 1860, has been setup by NTPC Ltd and is being managed by National Power Training Institute, an Autonomous Body under Ministry of Power, Govt. of India for development of technical skills through ITI Courses and need based training of power sector personnel in the areas of generation, transmission and distribution.

Qualification and experience : Matric with Maths & Science and Degree or Diploma from a recognized University/Institute/Board, atleast in second class in Electrical Engineering/Technology with 3 years of relevant teaching experience or National Trade Certificate in Electrician trade with 5 years of relevant experience in industry or teaching experience in training/vocational Institute. Knowledge of Marathi language is essential.
