Programme Title : Summer Research Projects and Training programme in Life Sciences

About the programme : There is a dramatic increase in our knowledge of nature and natural processes. The main purpose of the proposed programme is to encourage students for research by exposing them to variety of research areas. This programme along with being a partial fulfillment for their academic degree (as per their academic norms), helps to choose their fascinating area of research in which the candidate can excel themselves.

Eligibility Qualifications :
1.) Students pursuing B.Sc / B.Tech /M. Sc / M.Tech and having desire to undergo hands on experience in advanced technology
2.) Fresher’s with B.Sc / B.Tech /M. Sc / M.Tech and desired to have carrier in research
3.) Experienced persons from life sciences intending to update their practical applicability of technology.

Note : Training/research project would be provided in relevant topic, as preferred by applicant.

Malkolak Institute of Life Sciences aims to work in the emerging life sciences areas such as Biotechnology, Pharmaceuticals/Nutraceuticals/Alternate medicine, Bioinformatics, Molecular Modeling and Simulation, Computer Aided Drug Designing (CADD), Medical Informatics, Biostatistics, Clinical research, Clinical Data Management, SAS, Oracle Clinical and Medical Coding.

There is a dramatic increase in our knowledge of nature and natural processes. The main purpose of the proposed Institute which is located at Hyderabad is to encourage students for research by exposing them to variety of research areas.

The Center for Drug Design and Molecular Simulation lab of Malkolak Institute of Life Sciences announces to start Bioinformatics and Cheminformatics programs from 16th May 2012 at their R & D premises.

I. Courses Being Offered At The Center for Drug Design and Molecular Simulation lab :
1. Practical Training Program in Molecular Modeling and CADD (1 month)
2. Practical Training Program in Bioinformatics. (1 month)
3. Practical Training Program in Perl (1 month)
4. Advanced Diploma in Bioinformatics (3/6 months)
5. Advanced Diploma in Cheminformatics (3/6 months)
6. P.G. Diploma in Bioinformatics and Cheminformatics (6/12 months)
All the above programs are also conducted online on regular basis. Interested students and researchers anywhere in the world can be able to register for the sessions.

Advanced sessions in Bioinformatics, Molecular Modeling, QSAR, Pharmacophore Modeling will be encouraged.

II. In-plant industrial training, Summer Research Projects and Training program in Life Sciences :

The programme is aimed at updating practical applicability of technology among students pursuing B.Sc / B.Tech /M. Sc / M.Tech both fresher’s and experienced equally, to pursue careers in research and development sector. The program being a partial fulfillment for their academic degree (as per their academic norms), helps to choose their fascinating area of research in which the candidate can excel themselves.
